This weekend we stayed up to watch the Super Bowl and it was a great game! A little too close at the end. Katy and I were sitting on the edge of the couch the whole 4th quarter and both said we thought our hearts were going to explode towards the end, when the Packers got their last fieldgoal and the Steelers got the ball back. It was great to see that the good guys won!For the game we went over to a friend's house to watch it. We hooked our computer to the TV so we could watch our slingbox on the TV. (Slingbox allows you to hook up to your TV back home through the internet and watch whatever kind of TV you have - Satellite TV or cable. When you turn the slingbox on you connect right to the TV and control the TV like you were in the room back home watching it. Its pretty cool) The time here is 7 hours difference from back in WI and because of this the game was on quite late here. When we got home it was 5:00 am.
It was very late but it didn't matter we'd do it again in a heartbeat.For the game we had some good Super Bowl food - pulled pork sandwiches, baked potato wedges, taco dip and even made some cheese heads. We were ready to go. I guess there was a Super Bowl party somewhere in Vienna with quite a few people, but we heard there were a lot of Steelers fans. It would have been fun to go but we wouldn't want to rub it in there face too much :)
And to Randy Jackson who said on American Idol last week that the Packers weren't going to win the Super Bowl - What's Up now!? (I hope that foot in your mouth doesn't effect your judging ability)
